A printable art pack is a “pack” that contains multiple, ready-to-print files in various sizes, from original art made by me. This makes printing yourself so easy and affordable, you’ll get hooked!

When you order a Printable Pack from my Web-Shop, you will receive 1 PDF that will give you access to the multiple file sizes – that are ready-to-print! (All files are JPEG and set at the highest resolution for perfect prints, every time). Simply select and download the file sizes you want and need.

* Please note that when uploading a digital art file online to a print shop, you must upload the exact size you have downloaded. For example, if you want to order a 16×20″ print, you must upload the 16×20″ digital file you downloaded. If you upload a different size, such a 11×14″ or 8×10″, you risk your image being blurry or grainy.

1. Select the “Printable Art Pack” for the listing(s) you love! Add to cart, order, and download via your email order.

2. Next, simply choose the file sizes you want/need that are included in your Printable Art Pack (you receive this automatically via email post-purchase) & download to your computer.

3. Choose where you’d like to have your art printed: for the fastest service, Google a local fine art print company in your area! They can also recommend papers & finishes for you!

4. You can also access the Printable Art Guide for your region, which has links to customer-recommend online print shops across the globe. Online prints start at just a few dollars, depending on the finish you choose.

4. Once you have selected a shop to upload you art to, upload your correctly sized file, select your paper or finish (some even print on wood, etc!), and voila! You’ve now made your own art print – the way you want it.

Your digital order are always instantly delivered to your email post-purchase.

How to Print Using an Online Shop:

The following are a list of online print shops that my clients have raved about, as well as simpler ones that may fit the bill for you.

• Blacks {Framed Prints, Canvas, Metal, Acrylic, Lamination, & more}
• Poster Jack {Framed Prints, Canvas, Metal, Board, Specialty, & more}
• Shutterfly {Framed Prints, Canvas, Metal, & more}
• M-Pix {Giclee Prints, Acrylic, Canvas, Wood & more}
• Staples {Poster Prints, Canvas, & more}

How To Print at Home:

• Printing At Home is a quick & easy option, especially if you aren’t new to it. There are many great colour printers available that are easy to use – printing at home though does mean you are limited to size.

• Most at-home printers can only print up to 8.5×11″ (standard US Letter size). So if you are hoping to print a 16×20″ print at home, that is not realistic unless you have a printer that has that capability, and you have art paper that size readily available.

•But – it IS great if you are looking for quick updates at home. Most 16×20″ or 11×14″ frames have openings for 8×10″ prints – which means as the seasons change, or as your kids grow, you can easily swap out art and replace it with new art you printed at home.

USING YOUR COMPUTER & PRINTER

• If you are new to printing at home, be sure to have researched your printer’s colour printing guide online (Google your printer name + how to colour print).

• I also recommend using inks that work with your printer, and fine matte art paper or cardstock. It may take you a few times to get it right, but once it is set, you are off!

• In order to print effectively at home, you must ensure that your printer can print in colour, and that you have researched the best print settings for your printer. Your computer and printer settings must match exactly.

• Please note that only smaller prints can generally be printed at home, as most can only print up to 8.5×11″ (standard US Letter Size). Anything larger and you will require a specialty art printer.

Below are links for popular printers and their settings:

• Epson (Mac OS X & Windows)
• HP (Mac)
• HP (Windows)

TIPS

• For best results, print your artwork at 100% with no border. Deselect ‘Scale to fit’ as this will create a poor print with low quality.

• Now that your computer and printer are set & synced, you also need to keep in mind the paper and ink settings. The quality of your paper & inks will equal the quality of your print.

• For at home printing, I recommend a matte paper or cardstock. You can purchase these online (a quick Google search can help you!) or through Michaels Canada.

• Be sure your print settings on your computer match the type of paper you are using for optimal results!

• You can purchase ink online, but I highly recommend using ink that is compatible with your printer for the best results.

TIP: If you want to print an 8.5×11″ print, be sure to have downloaded and selected the 8.5×11″ file included in your order (all downloads come in over a dozen ready-to-print sizes!)

• Canadian Prints •

Canadian prints are shipped locally with love from my printing partner.

Previously, I printed from within my studio, however now that more customers are wanting larger prints, I needed to work with someone that could make these for me. They are also local to my community, and are amazing people, too. If you are local and need some printing done yourself, please check out Extreme Imaging! I trust them completely and they produce such beautiful work on an array of surfaces, such as wood, etc. They can even create puzzles from photos and restore damaged vintage photos.
